    . Secondly with the development of Industrial agriculture the rates of fossil fuel emissions and green house gasses being released into the atmosphere has skyrocketed. In order of magnitude chemical fertilizers (made from natural gas) pesticides (made from petroleum) farm machinery, modern food processing and packaging and transportation together have all aided in messing our entire ecosystem up. Somethings wrong with that picture.

Starting with overproduction of cheap grain, and then the discovery of High Fructose Corn Syrup, our food system has become a mess. First of all, HFCS is six times sweater that natural sugar, and found in 90% of food in supermarkets. SIX TIMES! And people wonder why more children and adults suffer from dietary related health problems like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, obesity than ever before
